    January 06, 2012 No comments

Rieth-Riley will resume construction on the Grant Street/Murphy Meadows project on Monday, January 9. The next phase of work in Murphy Meadows will include Trevor Street, where the sanitary sewer will be replaced along with minor storm sewer replacement. Utility replacement work on Douglas Drive is to follow the work on Trevor Street.

Removal of trees within the road right-of-way will be performed in January. Work in the area is scheduled to continue through early April. All proposed scheduling is contingent upon weather conditions.

“No Parking” signs will be posted along roadways in construction areas as necessary. Notification shall be provided to residents with door hangers/flyers when access to driveways will be restricted due to construction. Town of Brownsburg personnel will assist with maintaining resident access to sidewalks during winter weather conditions. Temporary roadway repair during construction will be with stone. The contractor will maintain stone in trenches on a daily basis.

For questions about the Grant Street/Murphy Meadows project, call the Street Department at 852-1113.
