Warriors girls golf coach Beck-Willis retires after 16 years
October 18, 2011 No commentsDanville High School athletic director Jon Regashus announced that Danville High School girls golf coach Sandy Beck-Willis has retired after 16 years.
This past season was one of the best under Beck-Willis. The Warriors finished the season 14-3, winning the South Putnam and Mooresville Invitationals. Danville also place second in the Hendricks County Invitational, the Sagamore Conference Invitational, and the sectional. Danville qualified for the team regional for the first time since 1997.
Regashus said no timetable has been announced regarding a search to fill the coaching vacancy.
