Two separate motorcycle accidents overnight leave two dead
July 13, 2012 No commentsA motorcyclist died early Friday morning before paramedics could get him to a hospital.
The motorcyclist crashed on Interstate 465 and Southeastern Avenue around 1 a.m. Friday.
Investigators said they think the man lost control on a curve, but they weren’t sure if he struck something or just laid the bike down.
The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.
Another motorcyclist died Thursday night after a hit-and-run accident near 12th and Meridian streets.
Officers at the scene say the motorcycle’s rider lost control at the intersection of North Meridian Street and 12th Street around 9:45 p.m. Thursday. The rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
Police say they are looking for a green Oldsmobile Delta 88 as a possible suspect vehicle in the crash.
