Tribe and PawSox set for 4 game series
May 26, 2011 No commentsAfter an off-day yesterday the Indianapolis Indians wind up their eight game road trip tonight as they begin a four game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium at 7:05 PM.
Rudy Owens is expected to get the start in the series opener tonight for the Indians, while former Tribe hurler Brandon Duckworth is the probable starter for the Pawtucket.
Indianapolis has a record of 20-27 and has won nine out of their last thirteen games. But the Tribe currently find themselves in the midst of a two game losing streak. The Indians are currently at the bottom of the standing in the International League Western Division twelve and a half games behind the red hot division leading Columbus Clippers who own the best record in the IL at 32-14.
The Tribe will return to Victory Field to begin an eight game home stand on Memorial Day when they host Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a 6:05 PM game.
