• Treat People Better nominations sought

    Do you know a deserving person at Hendricks Regional Health who treats people better? Nominations are being accepted for the 2013 Treat People Better Award. The winner will be recognized at the annual Treat People Better Award & Auction on November 16 at the Colts Pavilion, Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center. Last year’s winner was retired CEO Dennis W. Dawes. 

    Visit the Foundation’s web site at SupportHendricks.org to learn more about this annual event, or submit a nomination using the online form at TreatPeopleBetter.com/nominate. Nominations are due by August 30. The winner will be announced in September and recognized on November 16.

    Michelle Reed, Foundation board member and event chair, said, “It’s wonderful to honor an individual or department from Hendricks Regional Health whose work epitomizes the organization’s ‘Treat People Better’ philosophy. We enjoy sharing stories about our caring staff and their live-saving work, and we’re excited to offer more than 150 great items for guests to bid on during silent and live auctions. We hope to raise $50,000 in net proceeds to purchase two infant warmers for the hospital’s special care nursery.”

    Sponsorship opportunities range from $100 to $2,550, donations of auction items are being accepted, and individual tickets and corporate tables are available now by calling 745-7594.This popular event has sold out the past four years, with more than 320 guests in attendance.
