Town of Brownsburg Hosts Holiday Light Show
November 30, 2010 No commentsThe Town of Brownsburg invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with Light Up Brownsburg, a special animated light display at Town Hall. Visitors will experience the sights and sounds of a winter wonderland with thousands of lights choreographed to several favorite yuletide songs.
The event kicks off Saturday with the Parks and Recreation Department’s Christmas Under the Stars parade. The parade begins at 6 p.m. at Brown Elementary School and ends at Town Hall. The parade junior grand marshal will flip the ceremonial switch for the lighting at approximately 7 p.m. Santa will be available for pictures in the Town Council room.
Light Up Brownsburg’s 20-minute dancing light show will replay from dusk to 11 p.m. each evening through New Year’s Eve. Visitors will enjoy the music on the radio at 107.5 FM from the comfort of their cars.
Light Up Brownsburg is sponsored by Hendricks Regional Health, Ray’s Trash, Duke Energy, State Bank of Lizton, Cranfill Development, First Merchants Bank, and the Flyer Group.
