February 7th, 1964 is the date in history that changed Rock n Roll forever, when the Beatles touched down at JFK Airport. This single event started a magical year in music. It was the beginning of the British Invasion in America, and for once we needed just such an invasion. Rock n Roll has never been the same.
Fast forward 50 years and everybody in the USA is celebrating it all over again. But not so fast! One guy seems to have been celebrating it well over a decade, when he created and started hosting The Beatles Show. That man is Casey Piotrowski.
Casey has been a huge Beatles fan since that memorable appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. He knows as much or more than anybody when it comes to the Fab Four. Along with writing and hosting the nationally syndicated radio show, The Beatles Show, Casey also found time to write three E-books. He has recently authored a paperback book, available on Amazon, called The Beatles’ 50 Most Memorable Moments. Due to the success of this book, he has turned it into an eight-hour radio mini-series of the same name.
This radio mini-series, The Beatles’ 50 Most Memorable Moments, will broadcast on 1610am in Brownsburg, Indiana, and over the internet on www.XRBradio.com, every week day from 4pm to 5pm starting February 24th, followed by two bonus shows at the same time on March 6th & 7th, which will focus on The Beatles’ first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. During portions of the broadcast, XRB Radio will be giving away items that include Paul McCartney’s newest CD titled “NEW” and an autographed copy of Casey’s book. The special show is sponsored locally by Nelson Jewelers, The Hearth at Prestwick, KJD Legal, and Hartman Inventory. For more information, visit www.xrbradio.com.
The regular broadcast of The Beatles Show with Casey Piotrowski can be heard Sundays at noon and Monday’s at 7pm on www.xrbradio.com.
