Super Bowl to put Indy Cars on display
November 30, 2011 No commentsSuper Bowl XLVI is giving a nod to Indianapolis’ racing history at festivities surrounding the big game.
Organizers are having what they call the Super Cars program, which will showcase 33 Indy Cars along Meridian Street in front of Monument Circle.
The cars will be unveiled on Jan. 27 and will feature 32 representing each NFL team and one extra car representing this year’s Super Bowl.
The cars will be on display through Feb. 6. Fans will have a chance to win prizes by using FourSquare to check in at various cars and take their photo with the cars.
