The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces a resurfacing project on State Road 267 will begin Monday, April 2.  The project starts at Northfield Drive and extends one and one half mile south of US 136 in Brownsburg.

E & B Paving, Inc. was awarded the $1.26 million contract.  This project is scheduled for completion on July 31, 2012.

Crews with E & B Paving plan to start work on the curb ramps.  This work will take place during the day and should take approximately three weeks to complete.  The only restrictions during this time will be occasional lane closures at different intersections to remove the existing concrete and to pour new concrete.

The resurfacing portion of the contract will then begin.  Crews will restrict one lane of traffic in the area they will be working with flaggers during the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
