The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced an intersection improvement and traffic signal installation project will close County Road 100 North east of State Road 267 (S.R. 267) on or after Monday, August 20.

The closure, which is one mile north of Avon, is expected to last for 30 days. State Road 267 will remain open at all times. The local detour follows Dan Jones Road to US 36 to State Road 267.

Rieth-Riley Construction Company was awarded the $1.5 million contract. This project will improve the intersection with added turn lanes and the installation of a traffic signal. This project is scheduled for completion by the end of October of this year.
