Indianapolis International Airport police said a private plane slid off of a runway Wednesday.

The small aircraft, a Cessna twin engine prop plane, slid off the runway as it was taking off, police said, and no one was hurt. An airport spokesman said that two pilots and two passengers were on board.

The plane was taking off from Indianapolis, en route to Nashville. The pilot noticed a problem with the brakes while he was on the taxiway and abandoned the takeoff.

No other flights were affected. The plane was towed from the taxiway and parked.
