Preliminary investigation revealed that Robert Weaver, 70. Of Shelbyville was operating a 2013 International snowplow WB on CR 850 North. Christina Smith, 35, of Morristown was operating a 2003 Chevrolet Envoy SB on CR 250 East. Trooper Basso stated that Weaver was applying abrasives at the intersection and did have a stop sign at the intersection. Smith did not have a stop sign. Weaver failed to yield to Smith at the intersection and struck the left front of the Chevrolet with right front of the snowplow.
