Same Old, Same Old for Hayward
July 06, 2010 No commentsFormer Brownsburg and Butler Bulldog standout Gordon Hayward began his NBA career for the Utah Jazz Monday by doing what he has been doing his whole career. Hayward’s debut was solid as he scored eight points, with five rebounds, two assists and two steals but the Jazz lost to the Charlotte Bobcats 85-83 in Summer League action in Orlando Florida.
Hayward also found himself in a familiar role as he had the ball in his hands with a chance to win the game in the closing seconds when he drove the lane and kicked the ball out to teammate Sundiata Gaines but Gaines’ three missed at the buzzer.
