Today Rep. Todd Rokita filed for re-election in Indiana’s 4th Congressional District and released the following statement:
“I am asking my fellow Hoosiers to allow me to serve them in Congress for another term so I can fight to bring their Hoosier commonsense to the national stage. Congress must focus on creating jobs and prosperity, making life better for Hoosier families and small businesses by limiting the overreach of the federal government, and stopping the reckless spending and debt that threatens the future of our children and grandchildren. Only together can we make the necessary changes for us to Keep the Republic.”
Rokita completed his candidacy forms at the Office of the Tippecanoe County Clerk. The paperwork was notarized by Tippecanoe County Clerk Christa Coffey. Rokita’s re-election documents were filed Monday afternoon at the Indiana Secretary of State’s office in Indianapolis. Rokita is seeking his third term in Congress. He is a former two-term Indiana Secretary of State.
