• Rep. Rokita to host public Declaration of Independence reading at Brownsburg Town Hall

    U.S. Rep. Todd Rokita will host a special Fourth of July Congress on Your Corner in Brownsburg featuring a public reading of the Declaration of Independence by citizen volunteers.

    The event will take place at Brownsburg Town Hall on Wednesday, July 4, from noon to 1 p.m., immediately following the Brownsburg parade. The town hall is located at 61 North Green St.

    Following the reading of the Declaration of Independence, Rokita will be available to talk with constituents about issues such as health care, immigration, spending and debt, and other critical issues facing the republic.

    Constituents who wish to take part in the public reading of the Declaration of Independence may volunteer by calling Rokita’s office at (317) 718-0404.
