Indiana State Fair Director Cindy Hoye announced that The Indiana State Fair will not hold concerts scheduled for the grandstand this week due to Saturday night’s tragic event.

The Fair announced Sunday that Monday’s rodeo was canceled, and is now exploring moving the August 17 Janet Jackson concert, the August 18 Train and Maroon 5 concert, and the August 19 Lady Antebellum show to other venues.

Hoye mentioned Conseco Fieldhouse, the Verizon Wireless Music Center and the lawn at White River State Park as possible alternate venues.

She estimated ten-to-twelve-thousand people were on hand for the Sugarland concert.
