Parke County—This afternoon at 12:44, Indiana State Police and Parke County emergency agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash on US 41 at County Road 900 South, just south of Lyford.
Preliminary investigation revealed a gray, 2001, Dodge pickup driven by 21-year-old Brook A. Dreher of Clinton, IN. was southbound on US 41 and failed to stop for a Gold, 2000, Honda, car driven by 60-year-old Anna M. Curry of Clinton, IN. The Curry vehicle was southbound on US 41 and had stopped to make a left turn onto CR 900S. Curry was extricated from her vehicle by members of the Lyford Fire/Rescue and Parke County EMS.
Curry suffered lower leg and back injuries. She was taken to Union Hospital of Clinton by Parke County EMS. No citations were issued.
Dreher was not injured and no citations were issued.
The crash was investigated by ISP Master Trooper John Goldner. Assisting were ISP Master Gary Winters, Parke County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Runyan, Parke County EMS, and Lyford Fire/Rescue.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
