Indianapolis police on Wednesday afternoon arrested a teenager suspected of dealing marijuana at a school.

Pike Township School Police were called to the Freshman Center, 6801 Zionsville Road, for trespassing students around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. When he arrived, school officials pointed out a teenager quickly walking to the parking lot, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report.

The officer asked the teen to come inside the building, but it was another teenager that got the officer’s attention. A school administrator brought in another boy and the Pike Township officer noticed he was nervous and fidgeting with his pockets, according to the report.

After searching the nervous teenager, the officer found eight wrapped plastic bags with a small amount of a leafy substance, suspected to be marijuana, the report said.

The officer reported the teen became hostile, threatening to remember the officer’s face for payback, and also saying he should spit at the officer, according to the report.

The 17-year-old was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing marijuana, criminal trespass and intimidation.
