    July 21, 2011 No comments

The Indiana Finance Authority’s State Revolving Fund Loan Program has provided funding to the City of Plainfield in the amount of $6,966,000 to make needed improvements to its wastewater system.

The loan will finance a new 1 million gallon composite elevated water storage tank, installation of a water booster station within the interior of the tank pedestal, and construction of 3,100 feet of 16-inch diameter watermain. The proposed water tank, booster station, and connecting watermain will enable the utility to better maintain distribution system pressure and to provide sufficient equalization storage for the existing and 20-year future demands.
