• Pick your next artificial tree at the Brownsburg Public Library

    November 30, 2012 No comments

Now through December 21, visit the Brownsburg Public Library and take a peek at their artificial tree lot located in the Commons Area.

Each tree was decorated by a team of elves at the library.  If you find a tree that catches your eye, place a bid at the Customer Service Desk.  The minimum starting bid is $5.  The bidding ends on Friday, December 21 and trees (decorations and all) can be claimed between Friday, December 28 and Friday, January 4.

The team of elves whose tree gets the highest bid will receive $40 to donate to their charity of choice.  So, far their elves have picked some really worthy groups including, the Wounded Warrior Project and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.  The rest of the proceeds from the auction will be given to the Friends of the Library group to benefit library programs and supplies.

You get a tree (decorations and all), a charity receives a donation, and our programs get a boost.  It’s a win-win-win!

The Brownsburg Public Library is located at 450 South Jefferson Street.  For more information about the auction, feel free to contact us at (317) 852-3167, ext. 108.
