Pair of Colts Pro-Bowlers Expected In Camp
July 29, 2010 No commentsIndianapolis Colts fans have wondered all off season if two of the key pieces to a Colts possible return to the Super Bowl would be Anderson Indiana once training camp begins this Sunday.
Wide receiver Reggie Wayne and defensive end Robert Mathis had both been rumored as possible holdouts to training camp as each player postured for restructuring of their contracts. Both players are under contract for two more seasons.
But according to Reggie Wayne’s website, Wayne wrote that he was ready to leave Florida and head to Anderson to report to camp this weekend.
Colts president Bill Polian also noted that there was every indication that Mathis intends to report this weekend as well.
Polian had noted that the Colts “have no ability” to do anything about either contract at this time.Posted by Brian Scott in Indianapolis Colts, Local Sports
