Pacers Roster Set for Opening Night
October 26, 2010 No commentsThe Indiana Pacers’ roster is set.
The Pacers released rookie forward Magnum Rolle to get down to the league-mandatory 15 players.
Rolle would have earned a guaranteed contract of $510,000 if he had made the roster. He’ll get $50,000 instead.
The Pacers traded the No. 57 pick and cash to Oklahoma City to acquire Rolle, the No. 51 pick, on draft night.
The Pacers tried to package Dahntay Jones and Solomon Jones in a trade so they could keep Rolle.
The Pacers will open the season Wednesday night at San Antonio with a tip-off scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
