• Overnight fire destroys Lebanon business

    January 12, 2012 No comments

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a fire that destroyed a Lebanon business overnight.

The fire began around 2 a.m. this morning at Clear Crossing, an excavation company at 514 Coombs Street.

As of this morning, firefighters were clearing debris so they could begin to investigate the cause of the fire. Officials don’t believe there’s anything suspicious about the blaze, and aren’t sure what sparked the fire.

The company employs five workers, and one lived in an apartment within the building. That worker wasn’t in the apartment at the time.

It took 50 firefighters to battle the fire.
