• North Beats South In OT In All-Star Game

    The annual North/South High School football All-Star game was played Friday night with the North defeating the South 24-21 in overtime. With the victory, the North closed the gap on the South’s overall series lead which now stands at 23-21.

    Former Brownsburg and current Purdue bound wide receiver Charles Torwudzo led all South receivers catching 3 passes for 71 yards including a 6 yard touchdown pass from Indiana University bound quarterback Kofi Hughes to tie the game at 21 at the end of the first overtime.

    The South got the ball to start the second overtime but was unable to score setting up the North’s place kicker Eric Shorten who kicked a 24 yard field goal to give the North the victory.
