Nominations for the Treat People Better Award due by September 9th
August 25, 2011 No commentsThe deadline to submit nominations for the annual Treat People Better Award presented by the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation is Sept. 9.
The award recognizes a hospital employee, physician, or department who epitomizes the Treat People Better philosophy of Hendricks Regional Health. The winner will be announced in early October and recognized at the annual Treat People Better event on Nov. 12 at the Colts Pavilion, Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center.
Last year’s winner was the Cardiac Catheterization Team which, with emergency room physicians and cardiologists, saved the life of a young mother from Danville.
Nominations may be submitted through online forms at TreatPeopleBetter.com/nominate or via the foundation’s website at SupportHendricks.org.
In addition to the award presentation, the event also includes silent and live auctions to raise funds for health outreach programs and services. A sell-out crowd of more than 300 guests enjoyed the evening in 2010 and raised proceeds of more than $36,000. Reservations may be made by calling 745-7594.
The Hendricks Regional Health Foundation works to build healthier families by helping support the mission, programs, and services of Hendricks County’s only non-profit health system since 1962, Hendricks Regional Health.
