    Ms. Becky Vamos

Ms. Vamos served as a teacher in the Plainfield Community School District from 2002 until 2007, and she is “looking forward to returning to this wonderful community and school district.”

Becky attended Hanover College and Purdue University to attain her undergraduate degrees in education and social work. She completed her masters and administrative degree through the EPPSP program at Butler University in 2008.

role of the Director of CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) and the High Ability Coordinator.

Becky was named principal of Columbia Elementary in the Rochester Indiana School District in 2010. During her leadership, Columbia was recognized as an IDOE Reward School for high academic achievement and growth and earned an “A” grade from the Indiana Department of Education as well as being honored with the Community “Shining Star” Award for two consecutive years.

Becky is the mother of two daughters, Rachel (25) and Jackie (21) who both graduated from Plainfield High School.

    Mr. Jason Hopper

worked in urban, suburban, and rural school districts, each having its own unique characteristics

and needs. Most recently, Jason served as the principal of Joy Elementary School in Michigan City,

Indiana. Joy has approximately 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

A Hoosier from Central Indiana, Jason has lived most of his life on a farm. His wife, LeAnn, holds a

Bachelor of Arts in History and a J.D. from Indiana University. LeAnn and Jason enjoy watching movies, traveling to historic sites, and spending time with family and friends.

“It is truly an honor to be able to serve the Plainfield community as the new principal of Central Elementary School,” says Mr. Hopper. “I am excited about serving a community that strives to place the needs of children first in all that they do. Plainfield is an exceptional district and I am thrilled to be a part of it!”

Superintendent Olinger is looking forward to the leadership and dynamics each of the new administrators brings to the district. “We are thrilled to have them on board.”
