Murphy Meadows Bid Awarded
March 25, 2011 No commentsAt the Brownsburg Town Council meeting last night, there was a construction bid awarded to the Murphy Meadows Project. It was awarded to Reith-Riley Construction in the amount of $7,383,624.46.
The Murphy Meadows Project includes improvements to the streets and sidewalks of Murphy Meadows Addition as well as improvements to sewage works and storm water drains. A bond was issued with a 1st,2nd, and 3rd reading which had been tabled from the March 10th meeting.
Councilman Gary Hood explained to those in attendance that the reason for the rushed approval was to keep the project on schedule.
