A man was arrested early today after a two-hour police standoff at a home on the Indianapolis’ southwest side.

Police said just after 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 4900 block of West Morris Street on reports of a man wanted on a warrant.

When police arrived at the scene, they heard three gunshots fired from inside the home.

As the SWAT team was called to assist officers, investigators said three people came out of the home, none of them the wanted suspect.

Police said one person remained inside the home and later confirmed it to be the suspect 31 year old Stori Emerson of Indianapolis.

After two hours of negotiations, police said they were able to convince Emerson to come out of the home without incident.

Emerson was arrested and taken to the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center, police said.

Police did not say if the other three people inside the home would face any charges.
