• Local Hendricks County Marketing Company to Offer Scholarship to Graduating Senior Who Actively Volunteers

Relevate, a relationship marketing company in Danville, IN, will award a $500 scholarship to one Hendricks County high school senior who has demonstrated excellence in volunteerism and leadership and who is committed to making a difference in his or her community and making the world a better place.

A social worker at heart, Serina Kelly, owner of Relevate, has worked with several non-profits both as an employee and as a volunteer since she was a teenager and believes volunteering is a great way for students to gain real-world experience and really make a true difference in this world.

“I was very fortunate many years ago to be given a scholarship to attend West Virginia University through the Pardee and Curtain scholarship program through my high school,” Serina stated. “It has been a dream of mine to be able to help a student attend college or a professional trade school.”

This is the second year Relevate will offer this scholarship. Last year, one student received the $500 scholarship, and two others received smaller scholarship awards.

For more information, including scholarship criteria, please contact Serina at serina@getrelevate.com.
