Lane restrictions planned on I-465
July 29, 2011 No commentsMotorists using I-465 on the Westside will face traffic restrictions in the coming evenings because of construction at the I-70 interchange.
Tonight, the Indiana Department of Transportation will close the two right lanes of southbound I-465 and one northbound lane so workers can place steel beams for the new eastbound lanes of I-70.
An INDOT release said the following restrictions on I-465 traffic will be observed next week:
Monday: Two left northbound lanes closed for bolting.
Tuesday: Two left southbound lanes closed for bolting.
Wednesday: Two left northbound lanes closed for setting overhangs.
Thursday: Two left southbound lanes closed for setting overhangs.
Friday: Two right southbound lanes closed for setting overhangs.
All road restrictions will begin at 9 p.m. and close at 6 a.m.
