• ISP warns of potholes on I-70 in Putnam County

    November 14, 2011 No comments

Potholes that have popped up on Interstate 70 in Putnam County were creating problems for drivers Monday morning.

Indiana State Police officials say drivers should be cautious near the 38-mile marker — between U.S. 231 and State Road 243 — because of several large potholes that formed.

The large potholes are in the eastbound lanes of I-70 and had already caused some flat tires Monday morning. ISP officials say crews have been called out to patch the road.
