A wounded military veteran who now works for the Indianapolis Colts will share his inspirational message May 17 at the fourth annual Avon Education Foundation Community Breakfast.

Josh Bleill, who lost both legs and nearly his life in Fallujah, Iraq, in 2006, will help the district foundation raise money for educational programs.

The breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. May 17 at Serendipity in the Metropolis Mall, 2499 Futura Park Way, Suite 205, Plainfield. Tickets are $25 each or $300 for a corporate table of eight and can be purchased in the Avon Schools Administration Center, 7203 E. U.S. 36.

The foundation has set a goal to provide more funding — $60,000 — to educational programs this year than ever before.

Bleill, who serves as the community spokesperson for the Colts, also will sign his book, “One Step at a Time,” after the breakfast.
