The Indiana Ice will be saluting America’s heroes tonight as they host the Green Bay Gamblers on Military Recognition Night sponsored by Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka with co-sponsor Delivra at the Pepsi Coliseum. The puck is set to drop at 7:05 pm.

The Ice will be auctioning off special camouflaged jerseys worn by the players during the game. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to benefit the local Fallen Hoosier Heroes Memorial for Enduring Freedom foundation.

Last weekend, The Ice earned three of a possible four points with a convincing 5-1 win over Cedar Rapids at home on last Friday night, before dropping a 4-3 shootout decision Saturday evening in Youngstown, OH against the Phantoms.

The line of Daniil Tarasov, Jacob Fallon and Emil Romig combined for eight points (3G, 5A) in Friday’s victory, while Jon Gillies turned back 26 shots for his USHL-leading sixth win. Robbie Baillargeon scored a pair of goals on Saturday including the game-tying goal with under a minute to play in regulation to force overtime and eventually the shootout.

The Ice take a 7-2-1 record in to tonight’s game.
