IMS to Lower Ticket Prices for Next Year’s Brickyard 400
July 29, 2010 No commentsWith images of plenty of empty seats during last weekend Brickyard 400, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced that they were lowering the prices for tickets for many seats for next year’s race by as much as $20.
A poor economy and high ticket prices were often given as reasons why many fans stayed away from the race this year as an estimated crowd of only 140,000 viewed the race won by Jamie McMurray.
While many tickets will be cheaper, ticket prices for much of the premium viewing seats will increase by $10 to $15 per seat.
