IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional Pairings Announced
January 31, 2011 No commentsSectional pairings for the IHSAA girls basketball tournament were announced last night with playoff action set to begin next week.
In sectional 12 in class 4A to be held at Arsenal Tech High School, Brownsburg will open up the tournament against host Tech. Avon will face Decatur Central.
In sectional 13 in class 4A being held in Mooresville, Plainfield will face Northview.
In class 3A Danville received a first round bye in sectional 25 and will face the winner of the Lebanon versus Southmont game while in the same sectional Western Boone will open their tourney run against Crawfordsville. Those games will be held at North Montgomery high school.
Sectional 46 in class 2A has a pair of Hendricks county schools as Tri-West will face Covenant Christian and sectional host Cascade will take on Monrovia.
And finally Bethesda Christian will have to wait to find out who their opening round opponent will be in class A sectional 59 being held at Crispus Attucks high school as they will await the winner of the Indianapolis Metropolitan versus University game.
Game dates and times have not been set but should be known by the end of the week.
