The Indiana Ice will be hosting a special concert with recording artists “New Method” at Bankers Life Fieldhouse immediately following the Ice game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Sunday, March 23 at 3:05 p.m. The game will be presented by the Sexton Companies.

“New Method” is a faith-based rock group based out of Westerville, Ohio. The band is guided by lead singer and bassist Doug Meacham and includes guitarists Matt Britton and Justin Culver and drummer Blake Bachman.

The group formed in 2001 and has a sound often compared to acts like Switchfoot and Relient K. New Method has released four albums, including the 2012 release “The Path to Leave Behind” and released the single “Gravity” in February.

New Method has appeared at a number of faith-based music festivals across the country and performed for more than 80 professional sports teams at events in 23 states. The band has also been featured on television programs such as “The 700 Club” and “Extreme Home Makeover”.

Admission to the concert is free with a valid game ticket for the March 23 game.

The Ice will be in action for a trio of games this weekend, starting with Friday’s road contest with Muskegon at 7:15 pm. Indy then returns home Saturday at Pan Am Pavilion for a 7:05 pm faceoff with the Youngstown Phantoms.

Individual and group tickets are still available for all remaining 2013-2014 Indiana Ice home games. Flex packages and additional ticket packages are available starting as low as $30. For more information, call the Indiana Ice at (317) 925-4423.
