I-465 ramp at U.S. 40 to close after holiday
June 30, 2011 No commentsThe Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close the access ramp from eastbound U.S. 40/Washington Street to northbound Interstate 465 on July 5.
Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, will make bridge joint repairs at the overpass after the holiday weekend. A four-foot-wide section across the north end of the I-465 bridge is being saw cut, removed, and replaced.
Weather permitting, work should be completed in five or six days and INDOT will reopen the northbound I-465 ramp from U.S. 40 at that time.
