Hendricks County GOP Sets Caucus Date
February 22, 2011 No commentsThe Hendricks County Republican Party has set a date to host a caucus to replace former Avon Town Council member Charles Dorton.
The caucus will be at 9 a.m. March 5 at Avon Town Hall. Precinct committeemen from the nine precincts in Washington Township that represent Avon will be eligible to vote.
Dorton resigned from the Town Council last week after winning a seat on the board of director of the local wastewater treatment agency, the West Central Conservancy District.
Candidates who wish to run for the Town Council position must file by 9 a.m. March 2.
