Hendricks County gains three new reserve deputies
February 02, 2012 No commentsThree new reserve deputies were recently sworn in by Hendricks County Sheriff Dave Galloway during a short ceremony in his office.
Dr. Robert Sexton recently retired after 36 years as an oral-maxillofacial surgeon and has been a member of the Sheriff’s Department Merit Board for five years.
John Michael retired from the Indiana State Police as a lieutenant after 25 years of service and also retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as a lieutenant colonel after 25 years.
Jim Tackitt has an associate’s degree in criminal justice and worked as a reserve deputy for six years in Marion County and Clermont.
The three new reserve deputies will begin their training immediately and, when complete, will assist with patrol and investigative duties throughout the county.
