• Hendricks County fire chiefs receive grants

    The Hendricks County Community Foundation recently awarded a $5,000 grant to the Hendricks County Fire Chief’s Association Rescue Task Force for their Water Rescue Preparedness project. The project will provide inflatable personal floatation devices; throw bags, and rescue coveralls as well as water rescue training for fire department in the western part of Hendricks County.

    The Hendricks County Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life in Hendricks County by providing an easy, effective way for donors to meet the critical needs of our community, awarding grants to not-for-profit organizations and projects, and collaborating to address community issues. The Deedee Daniel Opportunity Fund awards grants to charitable organizations that enhance the community, help those in need or provide educational opportunities.
