• Hendricks County encourages voters to confirm poll locations ahead of the May 8th primary

    April 26, 2012 No comments

With the Indiana primary now less than two weeks away, Hendricks County election officials are recommending that voters confirm their polling locations before heading out to vote. The last countywide election in Hendricks was in 2010. Many changes have happened since then.

In 2011 just a handful of municipalities had elections and those locations were combined into “zones.” Washington Township voters were directed to specific locations for a school referendum.

Also in 2011, many changes were made in regards to redistricting and reprecincting. Anytime a change in location occurs, a notice is sent to the voter.

Hendricks County Voter Registration is urging every voter (especially those in Avon, Brownsburg, Danville, and Plainfield) to visit the website www.indianavoters.com. A voter may also use a feature to view candidate names on their ballot. At this site you can confirm your registration and voting location.

If you do not have web access and want to confirm your voting location, call the voter registration office prior to Election Day at 745-9313.
