HCPBWA Accepting Scholarship Applications
March 08, 2013 No commentsThe Hendricks County Professional Business Women’s Association (HCPBWA) is offering two $500 scholarships to graduating Hendricks County high school girls and one $500 scholarship to adult women who are returning to school for higher education at a college, vocational school or trade school in the summer or fall of 2013.
Interested applicants must submit an application, two letters of recommendation and a sealed copy of their school transcripts by Saturday, March 30, 2012. To download a scholarship application, visit www.hcpbwa.com. Submission guidelines can be found on the website.
“The women of HCPBWA are excited to offer these scholarships,” says Theresa Hill, scholarship committee co-chairperson. “We’re dedicated to helping women in the county who are interested in professional or business-related fields grow personally and professionally through educational development. This program also helps ease some of the financial burden of attending college or other higher education programs.”
Scholarship recipients are requested to attend the HCPBWA meeting on Tuesday, May 14, at Park Square Manor, Avon, to be recognized for their accomplishments and receive their scholarship check.
