• HCCF accepting letters of intent for Deedee Daniel Opportunity fund

    The Hendricks County Community Foundation is now accepting Letters of Intent from local not-for-profit organizations and charitable projects for the 2011 Deedee Daniel Opportunity Fund grant cycle.

    The Deedee Daniel Opportunity Fund grants will only be made to a qualified charitable project or a not-for-profit organization that benefits Hendricks County and its communities. The Community Foundation will consider organizations or charitable projects that serve in Arts and Culture, Community Development, Education, Health and Human Services, and Youth.

    A Letter of Intent is required before a grant application will be made available to any organization. The Letter of Intent form as well as Guidelines and Instructions are available on the Community Foundation website at www.hendrickscountycf.org or by contacting Susan Rozzi at 317.718.1200 or susan@hendrickscountycf.org. The deadline for the Letter of Intent is Wednesday, July 13, 2011 by Noon.

    The purpose of the Deedee Daniel Opportunity Fund is to meet current needs within Hendricks County. The Hendricks County Community Foundation manages a $8 million collection of funds that are created by individuals, families, businesses and organizations for charitable purposes. In 2010, the Community Foundation will award over $650,000 in grants to organizations and scholarships to students. For more information, contact Susan Rozzi at 317-718-1200.
