    At 2:00PM Wednesday, Indiana State Police Troopers and Terre Haute City Police Officers descended upon the Greyhound Bus terminal in downtownTerre Hauteawaiting the arrival of a Greyhound Bus fromIndianapolis. The officers received information from theUSMarshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department that a man wanted inIndianapoliswas allegedly on a bus bound for theSt. Louisarea.

    Within minutes, the bus arrived and troopers boarded the bus and located the wanted man sitting alone in the rear. Delarian Lewis, age 33, ofIndianapolis, IN. was taken into custody without incident. Lewis was wanted by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department for Aggravated Battery, Class B felony.

    Troopers transported Lewis to the Vigo County Jail where he is awaiting the arrival of IMPD officers for transfer to the Marion County Jail. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is conducting the criminal investigation related to Delarian Lewis.
