OZONE FORMING EMISSIONS.

RIDE THE BUS INSTEAD OF TAKING YOUR CAR.
CAR-POOL WITH A FRIEND OR CO-WORKER.
REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF TIME SPENT IN DRIVE THRU LANES.
POSTPONE FILLING OR TOPPING OFF YOUR GAS TANK UNTIL AFTER DARK.
PUT OFF MOWING YOUR LAWN UNTIL AFTER 600 PM.

WISH-TV in Indianapolis had a viewer report that 8,000 Post-its were placed around Anderson High School overnight.

Friday morning, the sticky notes could be seen on doors to the school and through hallways visible from the doors.

It wasn’t immediately clear Friday morning how Anderson Community Schools would respond to the similar senior prank.

The Indiana Pacers pounded the Miami Heat 94 to 75 last night at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse taking a two games to one the lead in the best-of-seven NBA playoff series.

Roy Hibbert had 19 points and 18 rebounds, George Hill scored 20 and Danny Granger 17 as the Indiana Pacers, showing more balance, toughness and togetherness than Miami, throttled the Heat Thursday night in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. 

LeBron James scored 22 -- 16 in the first half before wearing down -- and Mario Chalmers added 25 for Miami. However, Dwyane Wade scored only 5 on 2-of-13 shooting for the Heat, already missing forward Chris Bosh because of a strained abdominal muscle and not expected to return for this series.

Game 4 is Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

18 year old Danny Roads admitted to forcing the girl to have sex when confronted by police.

He is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $40,000 surety bond.

Roads has learning disabilities, according to court documents, but the teen's mother told police he understands right from wrong. He and the girl had previously dated but Roads told police they never had sex until he forced her into the classroom after their relationship had ended.

The girl, who also is learning-disabled, told police that Roads told her he would kill her if she told anyone about the incident.

In addition to rape, Roads is charged with criminal deviate conduct, sexual battery and criminal confinement.

Police say that school surveillance video shows the male student pulling the girl into the classroom and shows her trying to pull away. The video shows the students exiting the classroom about 15 minutes later, according to the affidavit.

Roads has two upcoming appearances scheduled in Marion Superior Court.

Fire crews were sent to the club in the 2300 block of Yandes Street around 5 a.m. Friday and found the building in significant flames when they arrived.

Firefighters found 51 year old Charles Buford who is a club member inside part of the building that wasn’t affected by fire. He was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical but stable condition. Buford was known to sleep on the premises.

The Kentucky Gunslingers Motorcycle Club has had the building for about 30 years. It has a seating area, dance floor and DJ stand. Members own the building, and about 40 members are in the club.

Club members told IFD the last person left the building around 2:30 a.m. But they had no real indication what may have caused the blaze.

Investigators were working to determine what prompted the fire.

After shutting out the Indians 4-0 in game one and 1-0 in game two of their four game series, Lehigh Valley shut down the Tribe offense for a third straight game on Thursday night. The 1-0 shutout win by the IronPigs handed Tribe starter Jo-Jo Reyes his first loss of the season despite the southpaw tossing six straight scoreless innings to begin the game and allowing just a single score over seven.

The only blemish against Reyes and only run of the game came in the bottom of the seventh inning when the IronPigs led off the inning with back-to-back base hits. LF Michael Spidale began what turned out to be the game -winning rally with a double to left, before moving up to third when C Tuffy Gosewisch followed with a base hit.

3B Tim Kennelly then came to the plate and laid down a bunt to the first base side of the mound that plated Spidale for the contest's lone tally as Reyes went on to finish off the frame with no further damage.

The single score by Lehigh Valley would make an excellent effort from Bush stand up, as the Major League veteran held the Indians just four hits over seven spectacular innings to earn the win and improve to 3-3 on the season. 

The Indians (22-18) and IronPigs (24-16) now wrap up their four-game series on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. LHP Rudy Owens will look to end the Tribe's three-game losing streak when he takes the mound while Lehigh Valley will look for the series sweep with LHP Pat Misch scheduled to start.

The crash was reported just before 10:00 pm Thursday at 62nd St. at Moller Rd. One of the vehicles involved is a motorcycle.

An IMPD spokesman confirms that one person is dead at the scene. Investigators say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

The reaction by school administrators not only caused an uproar among the students but with parents and alumni as well.

Patrick Spray, superintendent of Mill Creek Community Schools, initially ruled that the six pranksters would be suspended from school for two days. The suspensions were not for the posting of the sticky notes, but as Spray explained it was for trespassing on school property after hours and without permission.

But parents and students insisted that the six students did have permission and went out of their way to make sure that the prank did not harm anyone or cause any damage to property. The students had been given a key to the building by Mill Creek school board member Margaret Weatherman. Weatherman is also the mother of one of the students involved in the prank.

Kim Rouse is a mother to one of the six students involved in the prank and is also a custodian at Cascade High School. She was present at the time that the students carried out their plan and was on hand to supervise and make sure nothing was done that would harm property.

After the suspension of the six students was announced, Spray announced that Rouse would be terminated.

In a meeting this morning between students, parents and school administrators, it was announced that the suspensions of all involved would be reduced or erased completely. The six students that pulled off the prank had their suspensions revoked and the incident erased from their records. The students that had been suspended for failing to return to class as instructed by school administrators had their penalties reduced to an afterschool detention.

Meanwhile it appears that Rouse will be able to keep her job as it is up to the school board to decide whether or not a school employee should be terminated and it is unlikely that the board will follow Spray's recommendation.

Spray told the Indianapolis Star that the actions a board member Margaret Weatherman and custodian Kim Rouse were "completely inappropriate".

None of the students involved in either the prank or the protest will be prevented from graduating.

The house was in the 200 block of Center Drive in the Brookmoore neighborhood.

A man in his fifties died in the blaze. His identity has not been released. Firefighters found him in the doorway of the house shortly after they came on the scene at 2:38 a.m.

Mooresville Fire Chief Tim Metzger said this is the department's first fatal fire in more than 30 years.

He said flames blocked the man's escape from the burning house.

Investigators have not determined the cause of the fire.
