• Drivers from the NHRA visit a Brownsburg Fire Department to give away free tickets

    August 12, 2011 No comments

Representatives from Lucas Oil Raceway and a pair of NHRA drivers made a visit yesterday afternoon to Firehouse 131 in Brownsburg on the first stop of their program to distribute tickets to the men and women that make up Hendricks County’s first responder units. The tickets are for the NHRA’s crown jewel Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil and coincide with a special 9/11 tribute that will honor the first responders at the track on Monday September 5th before eliminations.

Brownsburg fire chief Oran True was on hand at the ticket donation and said that the gesture meant a lot to the departments and the men and women who serve the community.

Two of Morgan Lucas Racing’s top drivers were also on hand as Morgan Lucas and Shawn Langdon came out to meet the members of the firehouse and take a tour.

Tickets will be donated to fire and police departments in Brownsburg, Avon, Danville, Plainfield, Pittsboro, Zionsville, Lebanon, Mooresville and Clermont.
