DANVILLE, IN  (March 24, 2014) – Looking for some local family fun this spring break? Those of us who will not be venturing south after the long winter may be looking for some amusement.  So, once again Downtown Danville, Indiana will be transformed into a giant miniature golf course called Play-A-Round Downtown.
The Downtown Danville Partnership created Play-A-Round Downtown two years ago to showcase its businesses while offering the game’s participants an opportunity for some unique no cost family entertainment.  This year’s event will run for one week:  March 31st through April 5th.
Play-A-Round Downtown is essentially individual putting greens set up inside approximately 20 participating businesses throughout Danville and is open to all ages for individual competition.  Each participating location will design and name their green and golfers can vote for their favorite with the winning business being awarded a traveling trophy.
