Conseco Fieldhouse no longer
December 22, 2011 No commentsConseco Fieldhouse will now officially be known as Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Leaders with CNO Financial Group, the company formerly known as Conseco, gathered at the downtown venue as they announced the name just days before the Pacers’ home opener against Detroit.
Bankers Life is a subsidiary of CNO Financial.
The fieldhouse was originally named for Carmel-based Conseco Inc., which is now known as CNO Financial Group, and there had been speculation that the name would be switched to CNO Financial Fieldhouse.
The facility opened in 1999 when the Pacers moved from their former home, Market Square Arena.
