Colts Sign Second Round Pick
July 30, 2010 No commentsThe Indianapolis Colts signed second round pick Pat Angerer yesterday to a four-year,
$3.14 million dollar deal that includes $1.35 million in guarantees. The linebacker out of Iowa is expected to back up Gary Brackett at middle linebacker for
the Colts. The signing means that the Colts have only two players left from this year’s draft that
remain unsigned. First round pick Jerry Hughes and third round pick Kevin Thomas.
Thomas played cornerback for USC last season but suffered a knee injury during the
Colts rookie mini-camp back in May. It is feared he may miss the entire season.Posted by Brian Scott in Indianapolis Colts, Local Sports
