Colts Open Camp
August 02, 2010 No commentsThe Indianapolis Colts opened training camp in Anderson Indiana yesterday with all
players who were expected to report in attendance.Wide receiver Reggie Wayne and defensive end Robert Mathis were the only two
players who some thought might not report due to unhappiness with their current
contracts but both players were in attendance by the mandatory 2:00 p.m. deadline.The only player not in attendance was the Colts first round pick Jerry Hughes who
has yet to sign a contract. NFL rules stipulate that only players under contract may
participate in training camp.The Colts also announced the addition of veteran cornerback Deshea Townsend.
Townsend is a 12 year vet who had played his entire career with the Pittsburg Steelers
